Josiah has turned 8 weeks old, and here are his stats so far.
Height - 60cm
Weight - 6.02kg
Head Circumference - 40cm
In a span of 8 weeks, my dearest boy has put on 2.4kg when Faith only put on 1.5kg in the same period of time! Of course, seeing how much he drinks, it ought to be natural that he is putting on this much weight!
Thus, carrying the two of them together would now be equivalent to 3 bags of 5kg rice! Sheesh!
According to the PD, his neck muscles are very strong, and he is growing well. The boy is now on an almost fully formula fed diet as I really am unable to keep up with breastfeeding him. Most of the time when he is awake, he would feed every 2-hourly, but at night, he can sometimes drag till 3 or 4 hours between feeds if he wants to. Otherwise, he is like an alarm clock, awaking every 2 hours just to drink his milk. He is taking in between 90-120ml of milk for each feed now.
Josiah can now sit upright with support, though he still flops around once in a while.
As for Faith, the princess, she is getting cheekier by the minute. She never fails to amuse us with her antics, and she truly is a walking sunshine. We have just gotten her a bag of megablocks, and she loves to build tall towering buildings only to make them fall and then laugh.... this girl would then keep her blocks, and she ensures that they go into the bag individually!
Her new words are increasing day by day, and it simply is a joy to be able to discover new things with her. She now has many favourite shows, and to add to the previous list, she now loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse; Timmy Time and anything related to Grover or Elmo from Sesame Street.

As such, I really had the full load of household chores in my hands, as well as having to look after them both.
My grandfather has also been diagnosed with end-stage liver cancer and has 3-6 months more to live.
It is a very trying period and it truly isn't easy..... but we are all hanging in there... hopefully these dark days pass soon... Thank goodness for the 2 sunshine children in our lives..... =)
