*.* Mummy and Daddy's Note to US *.*

May today there be peace within.

May yoiu trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.

May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of Faith.

May you use those gifts you have received,

And pass on the love that has been given to you.

May you be content knowing you are a child of God.

Let this presence settle into your heart,

And allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.

*.* 10-month old and 30-month old *.*

Hi everyone!

It's been one and a half months since my last update.

Life as a working mother is really crazy, especially with two young ones in tow. It has not been easy juggling between the children's needs, my needs, the hub's needs and my work commitments. There've been some rough times here and there, but thankfully, everything's going okay.

The kids are simply growing up far too fast. Josiah is getting more adorable as each day passes with all his cheeky expressions. Faith's command of the language is improving day after day. Already she is reciting her goodnight prayer to her Guardian Angel all by herself, and she has some seriously funny expressions! "Hey!! What's going on! What's going on?"

As you can see from the collage of pictures above, we have been bringing them cycling. They love it, and our darling boy constantly falls asleep if he hasn't had his nap yet! The breeze on his face is just too comfy for him. =)

Jojo is already 10.07kg, just 2 kg shy of his sister. He is now cruising and still slowly gaining the confidence to walk. However, he can crawl really fast. This boy seems void of fear, chasing dogs, going down steps head first. Somehow, it's just amazing to watch him, and he's oh-so-funny too! He eats anything and everything, and he hasn't yet rejected a food! Soon, we'll be moving him from porridge to rice and soup for his meals as he is starting to show dislike for the soft, mushy texture of his porridge. Not that he won't eat it, but he shows distaste for it.

Other than his poor sleep habits, he actually is rather easy to look after. till now, this little tiger is still waking up thrice in the night for milk, every 2 hours. We've been told of a remedy to put raisins in his milk to help him sleep better. It has helped in the sense that he sleeps more soundly at night, but he still continues to wake up for his milk.

2 more months and he'll be turning 1. It's scary how time flies past you just like that, especially since i'm working! Already he has spent more time in this world than he had in my tummy. This little one is a very affectionate child, unlike his sister, who's a little more reserved in nature. If he loves you and is close to you, he isn't afraid of showing it at all! if he continues the way he is, I'm certain he'll be a girl-killer in future....and that bodes trouble for us eh?? =)

This little fella loves his sister lots and lots, even going so far as to protect her from mummy and Daddy's anger! When she's crying cos she's been scolded or punished, he'll run to her aid immediately, and if we stop him, he shows us his displeasure!!!

Faith is definitely one hardy character. She is strong-willed just like me, and well, terribly stubborn like her Daddy. She can be truly adorable when she wants to, and terribly difficult if she chooses to be. Most of the time, she tries her luck with Daddy. Although he doesn't give in to her antics, but like he says, she prefers the soft approach.

She picks up things really quickly these days, and I guess it's due to the fact that she's being exposed to other kids, and the teachers in school are helping her learn too. The songs and dance are so fun to listen to, and it's lovely when she attempts to tell you things that happened during her day. She loves listing out what is going to happen next... hmm..somehow, that sounds like me. A planner by nature? Lol.

She's now able to recite the ABC, and has memorized her flashcards. This little girl loves her puzzles a lot and can spend all evening just doing puzzles.

I guess that whilst she desires attention from us every now and then, she has her moments where she just wants to be alone. An independent girl by nature, i'd think. =)

She loves her brother lots, but not in the way I'd expected her to be. Somehow, she's not as affectionate, but her love for her brother is very prominent in the way she feeds him and loves him when he has fallen down.

Cycling and beach outings are pretty much a weekly affair these days. Soon, we'll be bringing them swimming again.

Really can't wait for the little boy to be able to walk steadily so that we can bring them to more places! After all, he is sooo heavy that it's quite tough to carry him around all day! Doesn't help that he dislikes the stroller coz he feels that we've all abandoned him! Insecurity sure runs high in this little one!

Anyway, we have selected our flat. #06-73.
2015 is the expected delivery possession date.
So thankful we still managed to get a desired floor in our choice block. God really kept it on hold for us.
Now, the saving for the house has to begin.... with 2 little ones in tow, cash flow really is tight. But I know we'll manage to work things out, because God is watching over us. in Him I trust. =)

Do check the link on the left "Josiah & Faith on Facebook (part 4)" for photos, for it is constantly updated! =)

Till next time...
